Amino Force 2,4-D is a post-emergent, selective and systemic herbicide designed to control a wide range of broad-leaved weeds in narrow-leaf crops. It is highly effective in crops such as maize, sorghum, millet, barley, wheat, sugarcane, rice, plantain, banana, and oil palm—especially at early post-emergence stages.

Mode of Action
Amino Force 2,4-D acts as a synthetic auxin (plant hormone). Once absorbed through the leaves, the herbicide moves systemically through the plant, causing uncontrolled and abnormal growth in broad-leaved weeds, leading to plant death. Narrow-leaf crops remain unaffected due to their tolerance to 2,4-D formulations.
Rates of Application
- 1–1.5 litres per hectare (depending on weed intensity).
- 100–150 ml in a standard 15–20 L knapsack sprayer.
- Apply at early weed growth stage for best results.
Precautions
- Do not spray during windy conditions to avoid drift to sensitive crops.
- Avoid contact with vegetables, cocoyam, melon, cowpea, tomatoes, and other broad-leaf crops.
- Wear protective clothing: gloves, mask, boots, and long sleeves.
- Do not inhale spray mist or allow skin contact.
- Wash equipment thoroughly after use.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from food and water sources.
