Mode of Action
Greensate is absorbed through the leaves and stems of weeds and moves systemically throughout the plant. It inhibits an essential enzyme for amino acid synthesis, causing the plants to die from the roots to the tips.
Rates of Application
- 4–6 litres per hectare depending on weed density
- 400–600 ml in a 20 L knapsack sprayer
- Apply to actively growing weeds for best results
Precautions
- Wear protective clothing including gloves, boots, mask, and long sleeves
- Avoid drift onto desirable crops
- Do not spray during windy conditions
- Keep away from food, water, and children
- Wash equipment thoroughly after use
