Kombat is a highly effective broad-spectrum insecticide containing Lambda-Cyhalothrin as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC). It is suitable for controlling pests in a wide variety of crops such as cocoa, tomatoes, vegetables, groundnuts, maize, cotton, pepper, beans, cassava, yam, fruit trees, and more.
Kombat works by rapidly paralyzing the nervous system of insects, providing fast knockdown and extended residual protection. It is effective against chewing and sucking pests, including caterpillars, borers, aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs, armyworms, and leaf miners.
Mode of Action
Lambda-Cyhalothrin affects the sodium channels of insect nerve cells, leading to paralysis and death. Its fast action prevents significant crop damage and reduces pest populations quickly.
Precautions
- Wear protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection during handling and application.
- Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes.
- Do not apply during flowering to protect pollinators.
- Keep away from water bodies to prevent contamination.
